Japan Association for Medical Informatics members promote academic research in the medical information field and engage in activities that are directly linked to medical practice. Therefore, we often handle highly sensitive information in both research and practice. In addition, there are many opportunities to be involved in systems directly connected to organizational management and local medical care, and their research results and practices have a large impact on the organization to which they belong and society as a whole. With this background in mind, our members will not only abide by the laws and regulations applicable to their activities, but also abide by this Code of Ethics as the basis of their ethical standards, and strive to ensure that medical informatics contributes broadly to society. pour it on.

Our members will respect individual rights and personalities, including privacy rights and intellectual property rights, and will handle information fairly and honestly, always being aware of the need to handle highly confidential information.
