Japan Association for Medical Informatics Medical Information Technician Training Committee is an organization whose purpose is to develop medical information specialists. It aims to develop "medical information professionals" who can handle everything from establishing a medical information infrastructure to utilizing data, and certifies medical information technicians and advanced medical information technicians. The main activities of the Medical Information Technician Training Committee include formulating goals for medical information technicians and advanced medical information technicians, holding various certification exams, publishing textbooks, and planning and implementing lifelong training seminars and e-learning.
